I think the LEDs are recessed too deep... Ya want it to cast over a wide area rather than narrowly focused or slotted.

What about welding on clevis/shackle mounts?.. Ya know, so you can pull Chevys out of ditches.

This was covered earlier in the thread. Putting the lights where they can't be backed into something is more important than maximizing the amount of light. They're not deep enough to affect lighting all that much anyway. A lot of cars have fog lights that are 2/3 or 3/4 that depth.

in fact uni both! I used the depth to support the foot and climb on the truck, while the light is within protected
