08 F150 a/c blowing out defrost all settings

08 f150 SC.
My windsheld has a coating of fog from a/c blowing out the 2 middle defrost vents when I have it set on face only and or face/leg option inside circulation only.

It's like the defrost vents are not closing tight.

I live in fl with humidity is this mishap causes me to sometimes have to use my wipers just to wipe away the dew from the defrost leaking.

I see problems of this happening in 97-03 models cause they have vacuum but wasn't sure if 04-08 had same set up.

Also my controls are push button, not turn **** option for controls.

An yes every feature works, defrost only, face, face/feet, defrost/feet.

Thanks

Turn up the temperature slightly until the outside condensation goes away. You are chilling the glass below the dew point.

It's like the defrost vents are not closing tight.
They are not supposed to. The system is designed to ALWAYS provide some airflow to the windshield to ensure safe visibility.

I have it set on 65 when it's 95 degrees out with 90% humidity, never had this problem in my silverado, my dad's 11 Sierra, or any of the other cars I've owned since living in fl.
So me having to drive around with fogging windsheld an wipers to clean off the dew is normal? If I set it on 70 degrees it's too warm, no point in having the ac on then.
An this is not safe by any means, it's very unsafe interupting my visibility.

It is what it is. If your Chevy did something else, go back to it.

we have a chevy at work that does the same thing on a hot day.. we bump the temp up a few degrees......... another option is lay a shop rag over the defrost duct at bottom of window

You have the famous sticking vent flap. The foam material falls off and prevents the door from moving fully or at all.
