1978 Bronco 460 Swap

1978 Bronco 460 Swap
have a 78 bronco that I bought, in pieces, to be put back together into an offroader. It had the stock 351m in it, but I decided to go bigger, and found a 460. Bored .030 over, runs well needs a carb rebuild. Couple of questions relating to that swap. One being the c6. I'm not 100% sure what year the motor is. Pre-74. Was pulled from a 74 f350. If I'm planning on running in the local mud drags next year, is the c6 going to hold up? Or should I switch to a t18? Already has the 205 transfer case.
And secondly, will the 460 fit in the enine bay sans modifications to the bay?
The broncos I've come across as "done out" the 460 swap seems fairly common. So I figured id ask see who's done one before and knows what the hiccups and hangups are.

The 460 will fit no problem in the engine bay. Same engine bay as a F150/250/350. Yes.....it's a very common swap. I've had 3 of them over the years. My "bad" one had a stroker 514. The C6 will work fine. I preferred the C6 over the manual....but that's me.
You'll need a rear sump oil pan unless you have a lot of front suspension lift.
L&L make the headers and motor mounts you're gonna need. (I hear their quality has went down over the years though.)
