How wide of tires can I go??

Hey guys so I want to do a new tires and rim combo. I like the stance that the pro street style have. I don't want to go to crazy with hacking the beday or the rear axle but how wide of tires can I fit under the truck without any mods with stock f100 flex of matic leafs??

Someone on here had some drag radials that were near 325/65 ... but I don't know exactly.

Then I guess it's time to cut, chop, and weld.

I haven't tried any that large so I can't say yes or no. That 315/60R15 drag radial is only 13.4" wide.

I love the look of super wide slicks tucked up under a body, but I'm not doing that to mine at this time. I first want to do a land speed run, then I'll change back to acceleration style. I can't get my tires to stick right now.

Those aren't my 315's, I have some 29" Mickey Thompson Radials, don't remember the exact size and the truck is at a friend's place getting painted.

The guy asking in that other thread said they aren't going to last vey long. You can't have both extreme traction and extreme durability.

LOL yeah I did buy was under the assumption that the thread was olDer and that something has come up since but I didn't realize how new the thread was. I often finding myself reading threads that end up being 5 plus years old haha

295 is about as wide as will fit in the rear without rubbing. Wider than that and your gonna have to change stuff. This has been discussed numerous times...
