What is a very good tailgate worth?
A tailgate that's Not exactly fresh off the line perfect, but darn close. Probably only used a few times, then removed and stored.

Just like sell a truck, it depends where you're marketing the product to. The mid west it would be more than a desert area. It could go for $500. Check out the Ebay and craigslist, and offerup prices

This is what I've got. It's not perfect, but it is in the top 1% for sure. It could be on a show truck.

Garret's may be the same 2 colors but doesn't have the tailgate finish panel nor the lower chrome molding.

I think I just got rich!! I have two mint tailgates, I have one tailgate with the woodgrain panel that I completely restored.
