Heater core question??? High Flow or Standard
Does anyone know what the difference between high flow and regular flow heat cores are???
I was going to order a heater core for my truck but was told two different heater cores for my truck??? Which one???
My truck is an F250 1988 7.3 Turbo with AC XLT Lariat...
Any help would be appreciated...

Hmm, not sure about your generation of truck, but on my '85, the heater box on the firewall says "HI OUTPUT". You could always bypass it by putting the heater hose from the water pump directly into the fitting on the block. Then you can remove the core and compare it visually with the ones you're looking at ordering. IIRC, the main difference is how the hose fittings are shaped.
