I ordered a custom cut carpet for a 1954 standard cab pickup , thinking it would work in my panel truck , when it came it is very nice , but to narrow . I need measurements from front door post left to right , middle of door opening and rear door post . my panel is 59 -60- 62 front to back . I find it had to believe ford would have used different cowls , for the two trucks . If I ordered wrong , I have a brand new dark red carpet for sale .

 

Mine is a 55 but will be the same as a 54 I get 59 1/4--60 1/4--62

 

Thanks , that is what the panel is . now to argue with the supplier .

 

after checking the carpet again , found paper work in the box , they sent 47=54 chevy pickup carpet.

You're not alone. I added a mono front spring on my 56 and have ordered shocks from two reputable vendors both sent me C$&@? Front shocks
Had a hard time touching the to send em back

 

Just my two cents but on some special order I will go thru my parts house it might cost a couple bucks more but they will send it back. No they can't get all the parts but it has worked for me in the past. I am getting ready to do some of the same shocks BJ so I hope it works.

 

I called the carpet supplier , and they admitted they made the mistake , they will have the wrong one picked up tomorrow , and ship out the right one . they are also eating the price difference . Can't ask more than that . The carpet they sent was very well made , and price was good . I will have to recommend them if you are looking for carpet . www.Stockinteriors.com 866-868-4577
