truck sits higher on passenger side
What would cause a truck to sit a 1/2" higher on the passenger side? I was checking the ride height of the 150 today after getting the new shocks installed and the passenger side was 1/2" higher than drivers side. I thought maybe it had something to do with the leveling spacers but I checked my none stock super duty and it sat higher on the passenger side also. Would the weight of the fuel tank cause that?

Dang near every truck I've measured is like that & while I don't know if that's it exactly, its always been my belief that between the weight of the fuel tank & the fact that only a driver is in the vehicle most of the time, it causes the left side springs to weaken quicker.
I think if they must put the fuel tank on 1 side, they should at least put it on the right side

I had the same issue with my '01 Super Duty. There was even a TSB on the subject. I purchased the spacer kit and placed it under the left rear spring. Truck then sat level on all corners. I haven't noticed this problem so much on my F150. To be honest, I haven't really examined it that close. It doesn't seem to be as prominent as my F250.

And having the truck leaning to one side constantly doesn't? They should have adjusted the spring rates.
Jeep does this on the Wrangler. If you look at the tags on the coil springs when new, you sometimes will see 4 totally different part numbers on the coils to compensate for the design.
