Has anyone here fit (opened up) the factory locations in the front doors to fit 6x9 speakers? I have a crew cab and plan on putting 6x9 in the rear. I was just considering them in the front as well.

Regardless, if you have done it, what problems if any did you run into?

 

I haven't personally done it. When I replaced mine I went with stock size kickers. I don't see any problems other than having to open the hole in the door a bit more. Then possibly having to modify the plastic panel.
