Help me choose!!

So I'm in the market for a new truck. I've narrowed it down to two trucks. Please bear with me as I write out my thought process and thoughts on it all. I want you all to have a good perspective of my intended use of the trucks and what each offers:

1) 2008 F250 4x4 CCLB XLT 6.4 with 132000 miles. Price: $25,500

Fully deleted with an SCT tow tune. He had the common HPFP wire issue and went ahead and paid to have the whole pump replaced ($3500) The paint and bed is very clean. Spray on Xliner. He just installed a Rough Country 6" 4link lift about 200 miles ago and it shows, the undercarriage looks brand new. 35" tires with about 30% tread and brand new 17" wheels. 5" straight piped exhaust. he just had the truck flushed of all fluids, tranny etc. which he said cost $1500. New brakes. He said he has always changed the oil every 3500-5000 miles. has receipts for two diagnostics checks within the last few months, checking the injectors, radiator pressure and such. The interior is a little different story. The dash is very clean, the seats are decent, maybe a stain or two, but the floor has a few stains which appear to be coffee or chew spit spill... he has never had the truck shampooed and can't say if they will come out or not. If they are old chew or coffee stains will they come out? I've always had the clean truck and want to make sure this one meets my picky standards. The only things that concern me is there is a slight oil residue on the passenger side front of the frame, he pointed it out before I noticed and said it was from an oil re-circulation line of some kind related to the intake? He said he had the shop that did the HPFP check it out and they said it was just fine and not to worry about it. Apparently it never needs a top off and never leaves a puddle or drips. It's also the original radiator which has me a little concerned that it will go out.

2) 2008 Fx4 f250 CCSB 4x4 6.4 with 133000 miles. Price: $27,000

This truck is also fully deleted and SCT tuned (he said it was like stage 2). This truck also has a new radiator, S&B cold air intake, BD intercooler, 5" straight piped, new oil cooler. 6" lift of unknown brand (installed by previous owner) 37" tires on 17's basically brand new. has the stock bedliner and mat which looks brand new. the paint looks very good, not quite as good as the red one but still very good shape. HID headlights, a clean undercarriage. It didn't strike me as clean underneath as the red one but still no rust etc. The interior is black leather, heated seats, stock touch screen 6 disk changer, navigation, back up camera etc. The interior on this truck is cleaner than the red one by a bit. I didn't notice any stains on the floor, the seats weren't cracked although the center console had some wear where the driver rests his arm. a small scuff on the dash where I think his knee hits getting in and out. As far as maintenance this guy just took the truck in when Ford told him to and had the oil and filter changed etc. He's owned the truck for a year and said he's had the oil changed twice (sounds like every 5000 miles?). HPFP is original as far as I know which sortof concerns me..

I'm at a stall as to which I want. I've always had a long bed and really like the idea of a long bed on the red one, I want to be able to carry jumpers and basic tools for a road side fix, maybe a tow strap. But if I put a tool box in the black one I've lost close to all bed space. I've never owned a short bed and really don't want to buy one and regret it someday. I don't haul a lot with the bed but want to be able to when needed.
I really like the black color, my last truck was black and it's probably my first choice out of any color. I like the clean interior, and the bigger list of replaced motor stuff (radiator, Intercooler, oil cooler etc.) I will be using the truck to haul my 4 horse trailer every once in awhile (maybe 7000-8000 loaded?) and maybe a camper. I don't haul regularly but do want to have the option.

The owner of the red one seemed to be more mechanically inclined and knew what he was talking when it came to 6.4s and maintenance. he seemed like the kind of guy that always replaced what needed replacing immediately. the owner of the black one seemed a little less knowledgeable and more of a "do what ford tells me" kind of guy. The only thing he installed was the intake and new radiator which he said he had done under warranty as soon as he noticed a leak forming. I don't car so much about the camera and heated seats, I figure I can always add the fancy stereo and goodies, but I really really like black on black on black, and at the same time like the long bed a lot. The black one is $1500 more with new tires so I really won't be saving anything by going with the red one.

I'm at a loss, what're your opinions on the two? go for looks or for practicality? Will I regret the short bed? is the replaced HPFP itself worth going with the red one? Any comments welcome, Thanks a bunch

Go with your gut instinct, the Red one (Long Bed)sounds like what you want, oil possibly crank case ventilation, easy fix. Carpet delete the interior, my suggestion. 2nd choice, lariat, Short bed. Remember, Buyer Beware. One question, can you afford a $3,500 mishap....

Red, it's more important to have the history on the vehicle. However, I'd probably look more and try to find a 2009/10. The lift isn't going to help towing.

Appreciate the response. Yea I know the lift won't help at all, but it'll manage I think. So you think the oil leak is an easy cheap fix? What about the possible radiator failure? Carpet delete and seat covers are of course an option.
Keep them coming thanks

My opinion for what little it is worth, look for an 2012 6.7 Diesel stock truck and build it the way you want it.
