Thumbs up Want your truck in a movie?

I'm posting on behalf of a group shooting a movie with nationwide distribution near Utica, NY. They are in need of a smaller truck from the 80's or early 90's (pre-1992). I believe an F-150 would be perfect. Blue is even better.

Please respond here if you are interested or you know of someone who could help us out. The budget is not high, so the more local to Central New York, the better.

Thanks!

I'm just outside Binghamton, so not too far out from you.

Not sure if my truck would strike any interest, but here it is:

It's a 1986 F250 4x4. It's got a 2" lift and 35" Hankook MT tires. Also still have the stock wheels and tires depending on what "look" you may be after.

Hello Sir!

Im the prop master in charge of the cars for the movie. Your car seems like a good option. Could you please send me your telephone number so we can discuss further? Thanks!

Just a FYI, we've been exchanging emails and he's looking for something with an automatic transmission.

By the sounds of it, the truck will be driven by one of the actors who does not know how to drive manual. So my truck got booted, lol.

Hey Reamer,

based on your reply im guessing your car isnt automatic right? I know its frustrating that he doesnt know how to drive a manual, but we are talking about actors here...

I didn't learn how to drive stick until I was 21. I taught myself after doing a manual transmission swap on my Ranger. Thought I knew how to drive stick. Realized quickly that I didn't. lol.

I would consider it but my truck is hardly good looking but it is a dark blue and silver two tone. It does run and will run better once I rebuild this 10+ yo carb. Down side is I doubt they want to pay for the fuel and my time to drive it from here to NY.
