Supercharger Tune found BIG issue motor BROKE
#31
It's running again.
All new rod bearings. Did not need to replace 9 of them as they all looked perfect. I did replace all of them though because I had to make sure they were ok and since I took them appart to do that I just put new bearings in.
It runs smooth and no knocking or tapping at all!!
Found parts of the #1 bearing in oil pan....they were flakes about 1/4 the thickness of a piece of paper and about 1/4 inch long and 1/4 inch wide. Several pieces under drain plug and too heavy to come out with oil...I couldn't even get them out with water. I had to use a rag and wipe them up.
Back to getting my supercharger tuned. I've switched to 5W30 oil so maybe this won't happen again.
