I agree. I found this site when i was converting my F350 from the 460 to the 7.3 IDI. Found lots of good info. Finally got tired of lurking and joined

 

Easy noooowww don't wanna rustle some of the interweb peoples feathers. They get rather weird sometimes ya know

 

They have absolutely NO reason to get their feathers ruffled by this thread ... Quite the opposite in fact, I suspect they get satisfaction from it!

hello.my name is fordf250hdxlt and iv been addicted to FTE for a decade now.

 

Every time I think I like this place I make the dumb mistake of asking a really specific question. The smart people that don't know don't say anything and the dumb people that know everything are happy to chime in. Then I leave for a week.

 

All I owned before my f150 was a beater fairmont and 8 GMs and still have a few. But, as for forums that are friendly enough for me to ask a question that is common knowledge to some people, and mystery to me FTE is the most welcoming.

Like the nova site I'm on.... I'll go rounds in the drivetrains sub-forum and have no issues. I asked a question about some years interchange between interior trim I need and everybody was like "get the pitchforks and torches" STAY YEAR TRUE or don't even try.
