2150A - No Distributor Vacuum Port

Since the 2150A was computer controlled it has no ported distributor vacuum advance port, correct?

If you have a distributor with vacuum advance and a 2150A carb, where do you connect the advance to if not the carb?

I would port it to a manifold vac source.

Debating the correct Vac source (ported - non-ported) is like debating Ford Vs Chebby, Coke Vs Pepsi.

I use non-ported (manifold) source ,....

Hi Lee.

I ended up doing just that, manifold. The problem I ran into softer doing so was the amount of vacuum advance at idle. Manifold was adding almost 18 degrees of advance. My distributor vacuum advance can is a cheap non-adjustable type. So I found a spot to place a screw that allows me to adjust the amount of movement of the can arm to distributor. Now I'm getting about 10 degrees vacuum advance at idle and it's running much better.
