Frame differences 1993 F350 vs 1996 F250

I have come across a good deal on a rolling1993 F350 single cab long bed 4x4 frame. It has the 7.3 iDi motor no tranny and no bed. I currently have a 1996 F250 single cab long bed 2wd 7.3 PS. I have wanted to convert to 4x4 and this would be the best chance for a body swap vs cutting out my 2wd TTB and putting the 4x4 under it I figure the body swap would be easier. I just have a few questions before I pop on it.

Are these frames the same?

Are motor mounts for 93 IDI and 96
PS the same for the motor swap?

Body swap or cut and paste the easier option? I have a complete auto shop at my disposal.

Any other advice is greatly appreciated.

I believe everything from the 96 sill swap over to the 93 frame. The PSD motor mounts will need to be used, but they are bolt on, on both frames.

I know this is an old post however, I am looking at swapping the frame from a 1993 4x4 F-350 in my 1997 4x4 F-350. Are they the same frames? Any issues with your swap?

the frames are the same between f250's and f350's from 92-97.

The differences between an f350 and f250 are the spring packs and front axles.

Does it matter is the donor truck is gas or diesel? The donor truck i'm looking at is a 1993 F-350 460 4x4 5 speed However, my truck is a 1997 F-350 7.3 PSD 4x4 auto. The frames should be the same correct?

Perfect! I will need a new core support (or at least repair mine) anyway as mine is cracked on both sides. Is there anything that I should do to the motor or trans while i have everything apart?

Yeah, if you're pulling a motor, do the oil pan, it takes 24-36 hours to do it properly.
And it will be easier to do the oil cooler seals while the motor is out as well.
