Body filler booboo?

Body filler booboo?
Had the day off do to rain so I thought I would get some therapy. I have numerous dents and scratches that needed some filler to make them smooth before paint. I mixed three different batches and the first 2 hardened like one would expect. But the third ... I must not have put enough hardener in because after 4 hours it's still sticky to an extent. I can put a mark in it with my fingernail. Am I doomed to scraping it all off and having another go at it or is there something I can do to bring it up to snuff? Any advice would be most excellent.

Some stuff called CUZ from NAPA. Seems to be OK as long as I mix it right. Got all the soft filler out with my grinder and a 40 grit flap disk. Do you think that CUZ is a good product or should I be looking for something else? Back in the day I used Bondo brand filler, but can't seem to find any close.

I really like Rage (I've only used the regular stuff, not the Premium or Xtreme), but I've also had good results with standard Evercoat Lite Weight.

Another vote for rage gold. Also buy a set of steel spreaders, $10 bucks well spent. If My memory serves me well I bought a gallon on eBay for the price of 2 quarts locally.
It's easy to not add the correct amount of hardener. I like to pay attention to the color while blending to get my desired amt. of hardener.

Body filler is like most anything else, the more experience you have using it the more you appreciate the better product. I have used Evercoat products for years and still do today. Rage and Rage Gold are both great, but each has its own special traits. One holds on a vertical surface and the other is superior for flowing into fine scratches and flowing out smoothly which means less sanding. For my needs Rage Ultra is the best...extremely easy to mix and spread and it sands like balsa wood. No pin holes and an ultra fine finish. Their metal glaze products are also outstanding.

Well I guess I'll be looking for some Rage soon. Seems to be the popular product amongst the experienced and professionals. Probably been 20 years since I last did any body work like I am now. Steel spreaders? Guess I've never seen any. Our trucks don't have too many flat spots on them but I can see where they might give an advantage. My plastic ones are kinda flimsy but they form around the curves pretty nice. Our girls have lots of curves you know. Thanks for all the advice guys. Always a big help.
