i do it on a regular basis too. It's interesting because my remaining battery percentage goes up a few notches right after it restarts.

I also do a "reset network connections" on a regular basis.

chas111,

Have you tried a reset on the SYNC system and then pair the phone back with a clean connection?

Ive had problems with mine since it was new. Sometimes it works great, other times it's stubborn about connecting to the iPhone, and about once a month it will loose audio between the iPhone and the radio, (no phone call audio, no voice commands, and no music). Then it turns the Bluetooth off in the radio, and it won't turn back on. It takes a power cycle of the radio head to get things going again, then the cycle repeats. It's been to the dealer twice. The first time they reset the radio and installed the latest software, and told me that things like that just happen occasionally with Bluetooth.

The next time they reset the radio and told me that the radio just doesn't play well with Apple products. I have an Android phone available, so I've been using it. It looks like that may have cured the Bluetooth problem, but I pretty annoyed that Sync won't work with what is arguably the most popular devices in use today. (As they were in 2014 when I bought the truck.)

When I suggest that the radio be replaced under warranty, they blow the idea off.

You wouldn't say that if you had the opportunity to use Pandora on both of them. Android for Pandora is really glitchy.

k7lvo,

Have the dealer reach out to their Tech Hotline since a resolution hasn't been made. This is their next and highest point of contact.
