I was considering buying a turbocharger for my truck. I own F-250 6.7L V8. I use it regularly for work.

My friend suggested me OEM turbocharger from this truck maintenance center. I don't have much knowledge about turbochargers.

I need some advice. I also like to know if superchargers are better.

 

Why do you want to replace the turbocharger you already have? Is something wrong with it?

 

The old one is not giving the power I require. Some kind of damage.

 

Run down what caused the damage.

Correct it.

Replace the turbo with a new OEM turbo.

Forget supercharging, that would be a major redesign and very complicated to do and make work right.
