Did I get the wrong carpet? 1987 F250 4x4 4 speed
1987 F250 4x4 4-speed.
Installing the carpet, however i'm noticing that there is a single slope in the carpet I purchased, however on my transmission hump there is a step up between the transfer case shifter and gear shifter.
Anyone with this truck successfully found carpet for it?
I bought this:
Ford Full Size Truck, Standard Cab '87-'96 Molded Carpet 4 WD 4 Speed (Gas or Diesel)
From 87-96 Ford Full Size Truck, Standard Cab Carpet 4 WD 4 Speed (Gas or Diesel) 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996
Here is a photo of my truck's transmission hump:
Thanks!

There are different versions of the transmission hump that give clearance for different transmissions. I'm not sure if the change was made from one model year to the next or if the different humps were used in the same model year. My '87 had the same shape originally and I had to swap it to clear the 5-speed I put in place of the original 4-speed. I wonder if the '87 carpet is more like the '86.
