RC. The front tires are dry rotted so bad, the tread is separating all the way around the outside. He won't get 5 miles before they explode. I had a couple used tires to throw on it for him.

Afternoon all.

I got the tires mounted on the Ranchero, (the ole' two prybar method to mount them on the wheels) fluids are full, lights work. He's on his own from there. He should be here tonight to pick it up.

I got most of the metal work done to the bottom of RC's tailgate and filled one of the gas fill holes in High Roller so far. I'm just tinkering today to take it easy. I'm still not 100% and don't want to push it.

sounds like a good plan alan.. just tinker with easy stuff, a little with this and then a little with that.. keeps ya from getting wore out or bored

i woke up to a flat tire on the S10.... went over jacked it up and found a small rock in the tire, plugged it and all looks good..then while i had the tools out, i went ahead and sprayed the other tire, it has been leaking down once every couple of weeks or so..took awhile but i finally found it, must of been a locust thorn it was so tiny.. now maybe it will stay aired up on all four wheels for awhile..
worked till i was almost finished with the flat-bump, then decided to come in to get out of the heat and rest with a cool drink.. i need to drag my worthless old bones back out there and get the steering wheel put back on then go for a test drive.......

Something like a big truck ,is that a columbia . Or a overdrive box that bolts on the back of the trans . I just don't want to loose my granny gear but the 410 are a bit low for the road . I wanted a locker and that was the smallest gears i could find . just pulled the radiator to soder two holes ,should have tested it before putting it back now well i got to fix a hole in the radiator .

a columbia differential are the ones used on ford banjo rear end's from the mid 30's to the late 40's.. they still make quick change differentials.. but you have to remove the plate to change the ratio you will need to dig kinda deep in your pockets to get one..

good morning missouri...
i went out to play with the wires again on my 67 into 72 turn signal switch..i am having a problem with it.. i guess the 67 4 way flasher is wired different than my 72 4way is.. i tried moving wires around but sitll wacky..it all works ok except when i turn the wheel to cancel the switch..the 4 way flashers come on.....

i got lucky and bought a 'new old stock' original ford dotz-13341-b switch on ebay for 32.50...that is cheaper than they were asking for one in the catalogs and they are probably made in china....... did i mention i hate chinese parts!!!!

i wanted to say how nice and cool it is out there this morning.. thought i was going to have to put long pants on..

well time for a short break.. i went back out armed with 2 wiring diagrams one for the 67 and one for the 72.. i did some re-wiring of the switch and now all is good.. i wish i didnt get so much in a hurry and order the new switch... i guess it will be good to have one in stock..now that i know you can use the 72 switch in the older trucks and vice versa ..

Morning all! Bought my son his first car this past weekend and started modifications to his liking.

Here it is after we painted the brake calipers, and plastidiped the wheels. Changed the headlight bulb, cam position sensor , and passenger side window motor. Infinity G35. 03 model. Needs ODs and ends, but ready to pass inspection now.
