2 Questions on Sterlings

First, will a 99-04 single wheel sterling axle from a superduty fit under the frame of a 78-79 F250?

Second, can the metric hubs of the 99-04 sterling axle be swapped with the earlier 10.25 standard sized hubs?

Thanks for any help!

You can make any axle fit under anything with enough work. As far as hubs I do believe they interchange but I'm not 100% on that. There's definitely enough room in the hub to have the older patter refilled. What front axle are you using? If it's a older Dana 60 with the standard bolt pattern id suggest using a 14 bolt Chevy for a rear. Pattern will be right, axle is super cheap, strong just hangs down more that a sterling.
