Anyone installed a Throttle Body spacer on one of these? Any thoughts or feedback? Most claim to add 10-15hp with a 10 minute bolt on install.
Yeah, it took me over a month to convince myself to pull the trigger. But now that it's installed, no regrets. I've still got my speaker upgrade on the back burner.

As for the Throttle Body Spacers, I haven't seen a lot of evidence that you'll gain any power on a fuel injected truck. However, they're not that expensive and I don't believe it would hurt anything; so six of one half dozen of another.

Had a cousin that installed a throttle body spacer on a 04-08 body style f150 5.4. Shortly after, he had missing and hesitation problems, and the check engine light came on. He had new plugs, coils, and some other things done that didn't help. Spent a bunch of money. I told him to pull that spacer off and we cleared the codes. Never had another problem. Not saying all spacers will do this, or every vehicle, but that spacer obviously didn't help that truck.

You can find less expensive Paper Weights other than a Throttle Body Spacer ..

I have the same truck, I have heard that the exhaust and air filter make no big difference on the 6.2 so I am not changing those. I have changed the factory shocks to Bilstiens as well as added rear Timbrens as I tow a 37' bumper pull with 3 slides. I added a 3" lift with 20" wheels and 35x12.5 Toyo Mt's. Weather Techs are a must. I have just ordered a 52" curved light bar from Black Oak as well as four 2" cubes, 2 of which are going under the rear bumper and getting tied into reverse lights the other 2 will be mounted on the tool box on swivels. I also added POP n Lock tail gate lock so now the gate locks with the factory key fob and a DeeZee tail gate assist shock.

Next will be Rhino roof rack and a roof top basket

I have had my truck two weeks now and with the FX4 and camper package, both my wife and I thing it rides great. Definitely stiffer ride than a half ton but it's a 3/4 ton truck so I would expect the ride to be stiffer but it is definitely not like the old 3/4 ton trucks.
Other than Weathertech one piece mats in the front and back, I am putting a Roll-n-Lock A Series roll top cover on it next week.
Besides that, she will be all stock.
Love these Super Duty's!

Summit Racing had the best price on the front shocks (24-186674 $69.93) but not the rears. I found the rears (24-185981 $69.97) on ebay by a vendor called "Hardpartsfast", I got the item number from that auction and called Summit Racing since they price match. The salesman went on ebay, looked up the item number, came back on the phone and said ok, that will be $278 or close to that.

Great shocks for that price. Like I said, the stock shocks had 27 miles on them and 2 of them wouldn't even rebound when collpased all the way down which took very little effort. The Bilsteins are a b---ch to push down and you'd better have them in the right position when you cut the strap.....good luck shopping........Dave

I have a 2016 Lariat 6.7, I want to change out the shocks ( front/back), I haul 30ft toy hauler tow behind, would these shocks work for me , or is there something out there that is better?

Thanks
