I ordered a Hitachi alternator from Rockauto. They responded to tell me they didnt have it in stock and refunded my money. I need this specific brand and I am having a lot of trouble nailing it down. Does anybody know of a good online source that is reasonably priced? The alternator fits a 2004 Nissan Maxima , auto trans and 3.5 engine. It either has to be a new Hitachi or a Hitachi reman.

Amazon doesn't carry Hitachi alternators. But they do carry DB alternators, and some on here have been happy with DB. In fact, I think it was Jim?
