Evening everyone! Thought I would stop by and say hi, I am originally from the southwest corner of the state, but have been out to school in the Black Hills for the last 5 years. Within the coming month the fiance and I will be settling down somewhere near Austin, MN where I have taken a job starting some time in June.

Anywho, hello!

Good evening everyone!

Frustrated with my van. Went to install the trailer wiring and found that I'm now missing a bump stop. It was there last week!

Installed the wiring kit and went to test it...a little baffled as to why I'm seeing 5v on the signal pins at all times the lights are on. Pulled my F150 out and see 3V on the signal pins with the lights on...perhaps it's normal?

Evening Tom! I am not sure on the voltage thing but have you hooked it up to a trailer and tested the lights?

Not yet. a 4-way circuit tester showed good, but the running light circuit dimmed when the hazards came on. Did the same thing on my F150...they behaved exactly the same except that the Transit showed a few more volts on the signal pins with the lights on.

I installed the factory wiring kit on the Transit. Kind of an odd install with an aftermarket hitch, but it looks decent.

Good evening everyone. Another busy day.

This is the last 2 nights project. Sand (80, 120, 220 grit), pre-stain and stain. Next, 3-4 coats of polyurethane.

Looking good Mike!

Tom, you can likely blame that on the tow...

I was thinking that...but how could that have happened? They used a wheel lift with straps over the tires to secure it.

Welcome Baatzy...

Well, mission sort of accomplished... Mud flaps are on the Jeep and Camaro is running and on the lift.. Most of the old stuff is off now. I need to do a cleanup and light coating of paint. Also found the left side axle seal is leaking and brake shoes were wet. I'll pull the diff cover and yank the axle, etc. while the cover is off, I'll clean/paint it..
I also have to get the front rotors turned to clean them up. New pads will go on along with new flex hoses..

Fun stuff...
The last couple pics are where Camaros, Firebirds and Novas all rot out.. Upper rear shock mount and unibody rear frame.. This car is solid!

This is the easy part. Cutting and fitting will be the fun part.
These are stair treads and risers for our house. The carpet had to GO.
