I'd bet they sell one a day around here, certainly no shortage of them on the road.

Bet that thing depreciates $15,000 in the time it takes to drive it home. And that amount of money could buy a whole another truck....such as this one....

The newer trucks get better mileage. Don't know where you're buying a house for $59k

I agree with that, no shortage around here. Back in 2011 my Super Duty was close to that price.

Not really, at least not enough to matter. Who would buy a pickup for fuel mileage anyway?

Depreciation on the high end trucks is pretty bad. The 2007 f150 king ranch that I got as a replacement for my f350 was somewhere around $50-55,000 brand new. I picked it up less than 10 years later for $14,000.

I'm in the market for a newer truck, and all I can find is very worn out trucks. Anything around 10k - 12k has at least 150k on it. Lots of Fords with Tritons, probably due for a spark plug change

Was just going to say the fords and dodges are just about as pricey nowadays. As nice as a new big truck would be i dont know how they are selling so many? Ive gotta be making hella lot more money before im in that market.
Good used maybe??

I love my 05 dodge Ram (retired company work) truck that i purchased from them a few years ago, just in time to need a engine rebuild last year.... . At 207k miles...
I pulled the engine and rebuilt the cummins and reinstalled myself thinking i would save money but honestly with the time i spent not sure i did. I spent more on new injectors than the entire rebuild.

Anyway. It took me from about May when i pulled the engine till September before i had it reinstalled. So needing a truck in the interim i found a deal on a 2011 f350 6.2 gas truck with 132,000 miles for about $12k
Drove it for 7 to 8 months adding about 14,000 miles and sold it for $11,500.

Oh and we purchased two houses in the last year and a half
One for $50k and another was $53k rural locations but needed lots of work. The one we more than doubled our money on if i dont count my labor...
The other one still needs everything and i havent even started on it.

Mine was $62 large when new. Couldn't afford it now, but don't laugh it's paid for.

Ross when you come to Truckstock check them out around here. My daughter bought a 3 year old Chevy silverado HD crew cab 6.8 diesel ( I think 6.8) with 36,000 miles on it for $28,000 it has the Allison 6 speed auto trans and 4 wheel drive. Pulls the horse trailer like it isn't even there.
