800 to 1000lbs in the bed. I average 16 on a long highway run and 12 to 14 combined city and highway.

It seems like MPG varies for different folks. I'm averaging 10.9 this tank in town. when I bout the truck it averaged 10.9 its entire live prior to me. I guess the good thing is the truck pulls great

I am pleased with the mpg and the 4.30 gears. This SD does the towing so much easier than my then 3.55 geared F150 with the same toyhauler on the same highways and even better towing mpg with the SD. Its nice to be able to tow on level ground and be in 6th @ 65mph instead of 3rd with the F150 @ 60mph, very seldom would the F150 stay in 4th gear very long when towing this toyhauler. The F150 did fine in the lower elevations when towing this trailer but once I got back here to New Mexico and towed through the mountains and the higher elevations starting around 7K, the 3.55 gears weren't up to the task.

Weight total is 7K with the Toyhauler/payload in the F350.

And thats just the thing. i had a ram before and got better MPG towing the same load. it was a 1500. the difference is this truck feels less worked and is a joy to drive with a load

For towing I will never again tow with a half-ton when it comes to a travel trailer unless it is really a light trailer. I no longer use the WDH with my SD mainly because Livin-lite doesn't like to have their trailers the use of a WDH and with the F350 and a class 4 receiver hitch I am having no issues w/o the wdh. I do not cruise over 65 and passing 18 wheelers have zero affect on my F350/Bearcat Toyhauler Vs the F150 combo and it did have a WDH.
The heavier SD will affect the towing mpg but the feel this SD gives me is the satisfaction of the ease for towing, passing 18wheelers with no side affects, handles winds with no pushing my SD or trailer around.
I only use it for towing though and it isn't easy not to drive it when I am not towing.
