400 front sump engine into 86 F350

I plan to replace a bad 460 with a built 400 in my 86 F350 but the 400 has a front sump oil pan which looks as if it will land on the front cross member. Has anyone done this swap and if so, do I need to find a rear sump pan? In case you are asking why I'm swapping a 460 with a 400 in a "so called" downgrade, its because I already built the 400 with zero deck pistons and aussie heads before I came across the F350 with the un-buildable 460.
Thanks
