Door Bent Outward

The hinges were bent causing the door to hit the fender. After awhile the metal started to get bent outward. Now that the hinges are fixed, do you think I use a rubber mallet to hammer the door flat? any suggestions welcome.

I'd remove the fender then beat the door into submission. Then fix the fender, and reinstall it. You can adjust the gap while installing the fender.
