Ok.. I stand corrected. All of the OBD2 scanners I have used had a lot more information in them and had a lot more features. The OBD1 one I have somewhere around the house just gives you lights you have to count. Maybe they have better ones now that can clear codes and do diagnostics. I didnt realize that. My bad. If that is the case though I will definitely pick one up if the are only $20.

Would bad injectors maybe be the problem?

That's the scanner that's most used for these trucks. About $30. Worth every penny. I never got very good at counting light flashes.

You have to approach the problem logically and systematically.

You could replace every sensor/part on the truck and still not correct it.
