Good truck cam for a MAF 302?

Good truck cam for a MAF 302?
So my buddy's '91 F-150 5.0 melted the #8 piston. Cylinder walls are fine, thankfully.
So he's doing a freshen up (new gasket kit, replacement #8, new oil pump) and putting it back together. He decided he wants to do a MAF conversion while the engine is apart, and is looking for a cam to take advantage of that.
He's looking for something that will give a good power boost with a mildly lumpy idle. Nothing crazy.

That said the stock cam in a '91 5.0 leaves a lot to be desired so there is plenty of room for improvement. Also this motor was delivered with a flat tappet cam but the block is roller ready so a stock 5.0 roller cam setup would drop right in. If you were to source all that from a '94 truck motor you would have a good truck cam and all the parts to make it work, just add 1.7 rockers to optimize the combo.
If your buddy is prepared to sacrifice what little low rpm torque the 5.0 makes in favor of more topend HP then there are lots of other cams that will deliver, the Comp 35-320-8 is one such that will produce a slightly rough idle and a ton more topend power.
