And another Brake Question -Brake light ON won't go off

This f700 has had the brake light in the cab on since I got it. If I pull the electrical connector at the MC it goes out.

System is working fine.. What I am pretty sure happened is the PO let the fluid level drop real low, and the shuttle valve warning of low fluid shifted and stuck. I've seen this happen on the GM version, but have no experience with Ford.

Any thoughts ?

I don't believe there is a dangerous situation as I check the MC level every day. One of the Right rear cylinders is dribbling intermittently so my first action is to install the RC01 check valve to see if that stops it. If not , then tear down it is.

From what I know of shuttle valves, it's possible the switch broke and it's stuck in place.

Hey VF. I apologize for hijacking your post BUT... I, too, have a VF1000R. I was wondering if you had a rear solo seat cowl you would sell me. If so, Please let me know. I have been looking a looong time. Thank you!
