Starting a 7.3 after a 3 years sit?

My trucks been down for 3 years, I started it today it fired up after a longer the usual cranking time , I let it run for an hour, shut it down then started back up no delay instant fire up, I let it sit an hour then go to start and it does the extended cranking again I assume its a low HPOP oil level issue creating the extended cranking, question is shouldn't the HPOP fill its self back up after a 1 hour run time?

Did you check the hpop level it will fill up within a couple seconds of running

mine sat for about a year and a half before I bought it after driving it a few times it fired up instantly probably just has some air to work out

Let it sit over night and check the oil level in the hpop reservoir. It should be within a 1/2" of the top
