Possible yes, but not practical. There is no interchange between the engines, wiring harness or controllers. You would have to bring a transmission along also.
If you have lots of money. its not a bolt in.... wiring isn't plug in and play...besides, why put an older pushrod engine in a newer truck? the 4.6 is more modern and it will put out a lot more power.... and it will not pass emissions........... Ford went to the 4.6 in the Mustang in 1996.....1996 is the first year for OBDII.......
