10% is about right on the money.

For 30k you could get a pretty nice used truck. Lenz truck in WI has a 2011 F250 4x4 with the 6.2 for about 25k

If it's going to sit most of the time, 30k isn't what I would want to spend. I'm also guessing a pretty high tongue weight with two 5k jeeps. Hard to say without specs on the trailer. I would be looking for a crew cab 2wd v10 f350 dually. Comfortable and stable ride at highway speeds and can be had for cheap. I have a 6.2 and love it, but can't imagine paying for it and letting it sit.

For me it would be the '05-'10 F350 with the v10, its the best gas engine ford has ever made. You could also get a dually if you wanted a little more stability but they are hard to find.

When I say it will sit most of the time doesn't mean months on end. I absolutely love driving my Jeep. Especially in the summer with no top or doors. But I do take it off roading about twice a month. Most the time it is at closer parks. One is 45 minutes and the other is 2.5 hrs away. Last year (starting in Chicago) it did go to Michigan, Missouri, Arkansas. This year Utah is already planned and Indiana, Michigan, Missouri are on the table.

Nice jeep! I hear you, I love my jeep too. No other vehicle like it. Are you on jeepforum?

10% is correct if you're towing a bumper pull. 20-25% is what you should have on a 5th wheel of goose neck trailer.
