Finally some progress to report on my F-100. I bought it with a 302 just sitting in it. I got the engine detailed, bought an AOD, and found a set of block hugger headers that fit. I used a trans crossmember from POL and bought a new driveline. The wiring is almost done, then I need to change the pinion seal and install the Lokar T/V cable and new shifter.

Sweet! Bet you can't wait to fire it up and make a little noise. Engine bay looks good.

Finally back on track!

I'm finally back on track with the old Ford. We made the mistake of going to a vintage trailer show and before I knew it, I had a 1966 Lo-Liner completely blown apart in my shop. That took almost a year and was much more work than anticipated. I painted it the colors that the Ford will be.
Recent projects on the f100 were a full front end rebuild including king pins and a Speedway disc brake kit and pulling the AOD out to install the aluminum plate that I didn't know was supposed to go between the engine and transmission. I've got a new Champion radiator to install. Next projects will be refurbishing the rear suspension, brakes and resealing the 9" .
