good afternoon all.. i got my appointment over with then headed over to pester alan for a little while.. he has "ole rip" looking good wont be long before it starts looking like a truck again.....

rich did you get all the parts gathered up for your swap project? that could be a good reason for a GTG .. if we had the hands we could do like the TV shows and build your truck in a !/2 hour show...

June 11th. Mark it on your calendar. Earthquake is gonna do another car crush. This will be the 6 car pyramid to practice up for the 20 car pyramid in August.

I got all the mud work done on Rip, but no primer yet. I'll get it masked off and shot first thing in the morning. Hopefully it'll be red this week.

I also got the new window rubbers I found in the junk yard in Earthquake. Now it's a breeze to roll the window up and down. I just got the driver's side done. I'll get the passenger side tomorrow. Even the beast is slowly coming along. As soon as I catrch a break for a day or two, I'll get the hauler in and squirt some paint on that, too.

Rich. Yep. 1230 Wednesday. I've been wet before, so it doesn't matter to me if it rains.

Yes, lots of safety upgrades happening in the next month or so. 12 point cage, 5 point harnesses, axle trusses, more braces in the frame, etc. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid. The 20 car is the one I'm worried about. I'll be about 25 feet off the ground to the bottom of the tires at the top. Lots of prep work will go in to stacking the cars and chaining them together so they don't move around while I'm on the stack. it should make an awesome video, though!

Hey guys it's been awhile how is everyone. Loving this weather it is giving me a chance to exit hibernation and get to work on the 69. And while at the salvage yard I found a solid 12" flywheel for the idi brand new for $30

Good Morning Everybody!

idf-350 Score! on the flywheel.

I guess I'm gonna have to find dry lumber somewhere to get the shop warm enough to throw some primer down.I really wish I threw some inside yesterday. Oh well, I'll figure it out. I hope to see RC's truck in one color by the end of the day.
