I have $6,000.00 I can spend right now...
I need suggestions on what to spend it on to get the greatest bang for my buck. I have a stock 1995 F350, automatic, 4-wheel drive.
To set some parameters, I have no desire to run the Baja 1000 or to rock climb up the side of Mount Rushmore. Most of my miles will be on the road, but I will go to some remote areas. At most, I will tow a 10' x 5' x 6.5' enclosed trailer. I am more interested in reliability, though some performance upgrades are acceptable.
I will do as much of the work as I can, but I am not a mechanic.
I do have to fix a few things, which will eat into some of the 6k. I am not limited to 6k, that's the amount I'm willing to spend right now.
I am converting to manual hubs.
I need to replace a spindle, all the seals and I will replace the bearing, whether they need it or not.
My front fuel tank, or something in that vicinity, is leaking.
I need to rebuild my transfer case.
My windshield needs to be replaced.
I want to fix a rear door lock and window that are not working.
I want to rehang my front drivers side door.
I want fix/replace my roof lining.
I need to have the steering column rebuilt.
I need a new steering wheel.
Now for the good stuff:
45 gallon rear tank.
Disc bakes on the rear axle.
37" tires.
ARB lockers, front and rear.
Larger exhaust.
6637
Manual transmission, maybe a 9 speed I read about.
RSK.
To name a few. Of course there will be other things I have to do before I can do some of these. I favor buying a complete kit rather than building something myself.
I-m just looking for suggestions, while I go back and read all the different threads.
Thanks.

Sure looks like your budget is ate up already! It can get expensive in a hurry. You'll probably need a lift to clear 37's. I have not read about a 9spd. Sure sounds cool though.

6K will only touch the mechanicals on the beast. Get her running right first then consuder some mods but from my opinion the list for "The Goodies" go like this.
Intake
Down pipe or turbo back
Intercooler
Since you want a hand shaker forget about the 6.0 transcooler
Injectors (160/0 stock nossel are perfect for your needs)
Turbo ( upgraded billet wheel will do with stage ones
Custom tunning last on the list
Or check my sig perfect for every scenario daily, tower, light to light racer, no off road for me but given the torque from my mods you wont have problems going off the beaten path. Good luck I have a thread for using a Super Duty 44gal rear tank.
And a sticky regarding a turbo moderator called it freakify mod.

The only repairs that have to be done now are getting the front axle back together and rebuilding the steering column. That will be about $1,000.00.

I didnt meant that way In talking about making sure you have the foundation for the mods, ask me how I know @730k I dicided to do the mods on my signature and they worked great but I knew the wngine was getting tired and now Im suffering the consequences, but im pretty sure the mods weren't the problem it was the engine that just had enough.

I have a relatively new Ford rebuilt engine and transmission. It has been a few years, but I have low mileage because I am a truck driver and I wasn't around to drive it much. I am driving locally now and I need to fix everything I have been letting go for so long.
Or I can go find a 1995 or 1996 Bronco to buy!
