High hopes!! Brake-bleeding question

I was hoping it was an ABS sylinoid actuator for bleeding the brakes, master cylinder ect. Just found it in my tool box. Nobody on the planet so far understands what I'm talking about.....anybody here know where I can get that tool? Ora solid answer on how to properly bleed the master cylinder that is just above ABS OR HCU (HYDRONIC CONTROL UNIT) without getting 0 air yes 0 air into the hcu, if that happens, it's adding to the list.....any advice appreciated. I know how to bleed everything but this and used to be a mechanic on older vehicles...

Christopher, I'm moving your post from 1980-86 to 1987-96, we in 80-86 don't have ABS or HCU or anything of the like, maybe these guys here can help....

well, his profile shows 94 explorer as vehicle, so this is the wrong section also.
and count me as another person that is totally clueless as to what he is talking about.

Add me to the list as well. I was a Ford service tech in the mid 90's. I've never heard of this ABS solenoid actuator that you are talking about. Just bleed the brakes like any older non ABS system. Have a picture of the part you are trying to bleed?

This tool?

Anyone have a T90P-50-ALA ABS Tool?

Unless something going on we don't know about, I agree just bleed the brakes normally no need to bleed the ABS unit.

If replace the master cylinder same thing, bench bleed the new MS first having it ready to go right back on following removal of the old one, connect the lines then bleed all four wheels as normally would.

You'd only need the special tool if wish to replace all of the brake fluid or have reason to believe it has air in the HCU already.
