Saskatchewan and Alberta search

Hey guys, my father and I are going to be making a trip out to Alberta in May and we were wondering if any one knew where some decent spots may be for 53-55 parts. No point in making a trip out that way and not snagging a few truck parts right? I understand there may be some people that have their own little parts stashes, and that's fine, not wanting to upset any ones parts, but if there are a few that have seen old trucks sitting around random spots that we could swing by and take a look at it would be greatly appreciated for the information. We have allotted a week for parts gathering so with any luck then the may be a few less trucks that need to be resqued.

Thanks everyone.

I have a friend up in Regina who scours the fields for flathead parts. He has to go about 250 miles out into the middle of nowhere but says there are rows of old trucks laying around. Miles from any real roads (he got stuck bad once). There may be easier pickins, but most of what he sees are pretty big trucks, not F-1's/F-100's. Good luck!

Always looking

Constantly look around when travelling in my area but these old trucks are getting harder and harder to spot from the road.
See the odd larger farm vehicles from time to time, but original parts are getting scarce.
This is the time of year for swap meets, so you might get lucky there.

Hadn't even thought about checking for swap meets during that time. May have to check around for some of those thanks Tom.

Ross, if we can't find any of the trucks we are looking for then we are considering a F500 that we have a line on. Would make a fun work truck for around the house. (Don't tell the gf, she may kill me)

That`s a fairly old article but I think Donn still has some trucks and parts for sale. A while back it sounded like he was trying to sell out.
I think I have his number around somewhere, PM me if you would like it.
