360FE intake

I got a 360 that has what looks like a factory intake, cast iron. It has a 600 Holley on it now. But I'm wanting to go to factory 2 barrel. Does anybody know if the intakes are different? In all my searching so far I don't find a factory 4 barrel option. But the bore looks to wide to what I would think a 2 barrel would fit. Not having one to compare to its hard for me to tell.

Somebody might have put a 390 GT intake on it which is pretty desirable as far as I'm concerned. You should be able to come up with a factory 2v intake pretty easy. I have one if you don't find something locally.

WHY do you want a 2brl when you have a 4 ? If MPG the 600 4brl gets better MPG( if you keep the secondaries closed ) per other people on this forum

T, yes there are FE 2 and 4 barrel intakes, most trucks 65-76 with FE 352/360 came with the 2 barrel. As noted above most folk want the 4 barrel over the 2.

No idea why you want to convert back to the 2 but you should find one easily enough. I would not waste the effort to swap back to 2 on my truck.

I have a 4bbl on a 390 and it doesn't get any worse fuel mileage than a 2 bbl. Yes a 2 bbl was more often than not a factory original but since I still use the original air cleaner no one knows the difference. Plus the 4 bbl Holley didn't cost me much more than to buy an original 2100 2 bbl.

Is there an aftermarket adapter between your intake and the Holley? If so simply remove it.
