1947 Ford 1 Ton restoration
Good morning all
This is my first post here so I hope I am in the right place. I have, well I think I have, a 1947 Ford 1 Ton that I plan to start restoring this spring. I shall be looking for lots of parts and advice. I am not new to re- building engines but they have always been straight four or six. This old girl has a flat head V8.
I think this girl started with a stake body, the chassis appears to have been cut off behind the rear spring hanger and a tipping box added, probable for grain. The box is rotten and I think I will restore her as a stake body. The body work is very sound with only some minor rust. The engine is seized. I wanted to pull the plugs and pour in diesel but winter beat me to it. I will now try and add some photos.
Thanks willowbilly 3 with the photos

You need to cut and paste the img line. On mine, if I click the picture and make it bigger, there is a side bar to the right with about 4-5 lines. The img is the bottom one. If you just click on it, it turns yellow and it's already cut. Come back to your post and paste. (I always use CTRL and V keys together to paste)
