I'm in love with her again now .....I will say however that I lost a good bit of ride quality it's not near as smooth as before kinda reminds me of my old truck (99 f250) perhaps a bit rougher but I suspect it's these tires hopefully they'll give me a good 3 years or so before I have to replace em I would have preferred toyo mts but they are more than the budget allowed for .....overall though it's what I would expect from a lifted truck ride wise, I need to chalk line my tires to get most even footprint as well and I think that will make it ride a bit better as I can visually see now that the outside of tires are not making as much contact as center......any who I'm pleased with it and it has always been quite the head turner especially freshly detailed now I think it solicits more attention ......it came to buying a new body style or giving this one some attention I chose this route......for those wondering it cost $3676 lift, wheels, tires and alignment done at Prestige Custom Rides in Mesa AZ

As much as I like the looks of lifted trucks, there are two main reasons as to why I won't lift mine. First and foremost it makes it a b**** loading and unload the truck. Not to mention my already bad back and knees and my short wifey. And the second is the fact that most if not all of the lifts that I've seen for the newer trucks utilize lift spacers and blocks. I get that it's cheaper this way and that it makes it easier to maintain the factory ride quality. But in reality new re-arched leaf springs and taller knuckles in the front is a better, safer way to lift a truck.

It's not something I'd do to a truck that was actually worked i.e. towing, hauling etc...and was done on daily or even weekly basis, but in my case it might pull a small trailer big enough for 3 or 4 quads or perhaps a small boat or camping trailer none of which comes anywhere near it's stock towing ability and the frequency is not enough to worry about it having lift.....my wife is 4'11" if she's lucky ......I'm not concerned about the lift but the tires I'm hoping will do well at least give me 2-3 years and then I could go to Toyos either mt or at2 .......we'll see
