I LOVE Instant Karma!
So this driver by my work is a Class A B!tc#...dives in to turn lanes late ("forcing" a spot to open by merging late instead of just sitting in the turn lane and waiting like everyone else), blows stops signs and red lights regularly and religiously...cell phone in hand while narrowly missing pedestrians in the crosswalk...someone who doesn't really deserve to have a license.
Anyway, yesterday she dives in late in front of me - no surprise, but still annoying. We make the right turn and head for the freeway on ramp.
On ramp is two lanes - left for carpool, right for non-carpool. Two new blinky signs in high-vis yellow to let you know the metering is on. I've seen her blow the metering light before, and I've seen her dive into the carpool lane if someone is sitting at the metering light.
...oh, but yesterday, the stars aligned...
...speeds off from the light, hits the ramp (metering lights on)...sees the red light, sees the CHP officer on his bike, figures she can just bounce to the carpool lane and hope he doesn't catch her blowing the light, but then must realize she's alone in the car - in a panic she jams the brakes to stop...but it's too late...CHP has his lights on and is just waiting for her to pass by to hand out that $371 carpool violation.
One of those days you want to pull up beside the officer and hand him a dozen doughnuts.

Very cool! You almost want to pull over and give the cop the sd card with the video and say, "this is in case she tries to fight this ticket"; and "there's 2 other videos of her being a knucklehead in case you (the cop) think she's cute and aren't going to write her"!
Then 'break wind' as you pass her window.

I agree. From the description, it seems unlikely that this behavior will change overnight. I thought she was extremely good with pulling over--something that only comes with significant experience.
True, but the number of female bmw drivers significantly outweigh the number of female Audi drivers, in my neck of the woods.

In the past, traffic would be at a dead stop, everyone waiting to turn right, and she'd rush up to the end, cut in at an angle (blocking the bike lane), then wait (while texting so she couldn't see the glares from drivers around her).
Loving the dash cam...as I KNOW at some point, she's going to cause an accident and with any luck, I'll be the witness that makes sure it's listed as her fault and not a 'no fault'.

You're going to be the bad guy, the one who was in the wrong in her mind for the ticket and the increase in her insurance not her and her actions... geez.
