Recommended clutches?
#3
Ford or LuK. LuK was one of the original suppliers.
Don't put a high performance clutch in a stock truck. Say for example the clutch is designed for 500 hp, but your engine only makes 350, then that clutch will never be smooth. It will be either fully released or fully grabbing with no transition- bad, very bad.
Also check your dual mass flywheel. If it's good, maybe stick with it. But you can also convert to a single mass flywheel or buy a new dual mass flywheel. The SMF doesn't really wear out ever. The DMF wears out... eventually. You should get 10+ years out of a new Ford DMF, at least.
