Alan - just make lots of helpful suggestions and pick out some nice Amish dresses for the girls. I'm sure they'll appreciate it so much they'll finish quickly so you can move on to additional family activities.

Cool shirt Alan. I got my tires mounted on the Bronco, those things are heavy, but no where as heavy as your 66" ones.

After a more current fender stuff/suspension flex ck, I am sure the sawzall is going to have to come out. Also based off these previous pics.

Our middle daughter found a dress and the oldest daughter had to order hers. Yay, this sounds expensive.

We dropped the older two off and now we're taking the youngest out to supper. Back at it in the morning.

 

After break off a bolt in the steering gearbox and having to get that out then wrestle the box out of the way to get the brace in my buddy and I finally managed to get the tie in brackets and painted bumper mounted up in a position I like.





I should probably think about painting my shackles at some point

 

Brian the bumper looks awesome, I'd paint the shackles the same blue as the jeep?

 

The original, and commonly broken or cracked, aluminum spacer bracket that goes between the gear box and frame rail. Broke a bolt off in it but luckily the steel bolt through the aluminum bracket seized up enough that we were able to grab what was left of the bracket and turn the bolt out of the gear box. Still thought I was screwed when the bolt broke. Lots of swearing followed.

Rich at some point I am going to strip all the crappy bed liner (or peal coat or whatever rubber paint they used) and paint it...was thinking of going with camo....either way the shackles wouldn't match anymore. I could always paint them pink to match your bronco

Paint them shackles what ever color you want, as long as they are secure enough to hook up to pull YOU off the trail.

i like the new wheels and tires ion the bronco rich!!!.... whats with all the jeep stuff...did i go to the wrong page or something??.....

i guess i need to take some pictures of my newest ford tomorrow... a 1990 full size 4x4 bronco with a 302 auto.. the worst part of it is someone painted it with bed liner..
