Gauge cluster repair company??

A while back i posted about my radio, power windows, and several other accessories going out intermittently. Several of you mentioned similar problems tracing back to a cracked solder joint on the back of the gauge cluster. It was mentioned that there was a company in the Midwest I believe that could repair this issue. Does anybody have their info or name?

They do list that repair. Have you ever used them? The reviews show 109 reviews and all 109 are 5 star reviews haha just trying to get some first hand knowledge.

I have not used them but the guys/gals in the 6.0 forum use them for their FICM repairs. I need to get my overhead console repaired and was going to use them but haven't gotten that far. I think Whitebuffalo has used them for his FICM and as far as I know he had a good experience maybe send him a PM and ask. I believe they are a site sponsor too.

So the problems mentioned on your website that are common to my model match up exactly with what I am experiencing. Is there a point at which the circuit board can go longer be repaired?

Varminthunter you don't say what year your truck is. There was a big change starting in 2002 with the electrical system in the Superduty, and the clusters from the 02 and 03 are different than the earlier ones.

Got it. When I had issues with my 2002 it was the VSM, but your issues sound different, intermittent. Mine just got worse and worse till I replaced the VSM

Mine is completely random. Sometimes hitting bumps will cause it to quit/start working, shutting a door, or nothing at all haha been this way a year and a half now. Doesn't bother me in the winter but I sure do miss having the Windows down in the summer for fear of them gettin stuck down in a rain storm.

In the very rare chance that a cluster cannot be repaired, we can always offer a replacement that is fully programmed with your mileage. It is extremely rare that one cannot be repaired though.
