quick, how get fuel and oil out after pulling injector?

Hey I'm doing injector orings right now, if I take glow plugs out to shoot fuel and oil out of cylinder, won't it go into oil pan? It said put valve cover back on and spin engine to get stuff out so won't hydro lock.

I don't have small snuff tubing for my hand pump.

Also can't get passenger injector next to firewall to come out, is hitting ac evaporator.

Sorry to be in a rush, but want to do this before we run outta daylight.

Thanks!

Crank her with the glow plugs removed, quick and easy a vacuum doesnt remove all. Put the valve covers with only 2 bolts on opposite sides, just to keep oil/fuel from spraying all over the place.

I was wondering if that fuel oil mix would then drain down into oil pan?

thanks yall!!!

i only did 2 injectors, due to limited time. saw the oil/fuel mix on the valve cover from the 2 glow plug holes, it wasnt enough to worry about. a very very small amount, like maybe a teaspoon, was thick enough to be still stuck to inside of valve cover.

I wiped it off with a paper towel and kept on truckin. Need to do the other 6 now, just didnt have time sunday afternoon.

Shes running pretty dang good, but after the initial LONNNNNNNNNNNG start after injectors were removed, she was still cranking for like 5-10 seconds before running. The last time, however, it was more like 2-3 sec and then she fired. I guess its still working the air out.
