No flip down back seats but it almost has as much room across the seat as my first car a 57 Desoto. I must be a sucker for orphans. I think you could put 6 0r 7 people in the back seat an still have leg room. The trunk is at least a 3 body holder.

make sure to get reservations , as cabins , are filling up

We have a cabin reserved already. So with any luck we will be there.

Jim -I agree moving is not fun. At least now I was able to sit in the easy chair and watch as the sidewalks and drive got shoveled with the foot of snow we got the other day. Lexington does not do well with that much but it usually melts fast. Come to TS16 and I'll let you take it for a spin. Have fun

Hey Dave,
Let us see the interior when you get a chance - lovely car.
What plans do you have for the inside?

My son picked out a dog from the pound - not telling what it is - but it sure looks like your dogs in the face & hair. What breed are they?

Looking good in Kentucky!

Freakin' cool old stude ! Got a great uncle who collects them . he'll buy any stude but likes his mid fifties hawks . owns a couple of supercharged ones including one i found here in sprinpatch. It was sitting in the drive with current plates ( 30 years ago now ) brush painted two tone green and the supercharger was locked up so he cut the belt so it could be driven .i got it for $200 and called unk irv and needless to say he was here the next day trailer in tow !

Hi Ben. Thanks, the interior will be as close to original (cloth) as possible.
The mutts are sisters Golden Doodles. I had a Wheaton Golden cross for 17+ years that looked just like Grace and Soph so when I saw these two on line I could not resist. Great cross bred very good with kids. Usually will stay on property once boundaries are taught. Love to be within sight of my wife or myself. Have fun

Kevin. Great story. It seems these Studebaker lovers are really serious about them. The super charged ones can move! The parts are available depending on the model. The Studebaker Drivers Club Forum is no where near as active as this one but the people are nice and helpful. Have fun

Great looking car. I have always loved the Studebakers. I came close to buying one a while back, but it would have had have been a daily driver, so I eventually passed.

I would love to see pictures of the interior.
The body count for the trunk reminds me. When I was in college and running cross country, one trip a rental car we got was a huge boat Cadillac. I think we got 5 guys in the truck with the trunk closed with no problem. Of course we were all scrawny distance runners.
