Hankook tires

We have them on 2 SD's at work. One truck doesn't get many miles, so far, so good.
The truck I drive, 13 250SD 4WD, gets lots of miles. Currently at 86,000 miles. First set lasted about 30,000 miles, they had maybe 10% tread left. They start to cup & howl on the front end at about 6000 miles, & get rotated to the back. 6000 miles later both front & rear are cupped & it howls pretty good & shakes the truck a little. No amount of rotating gets them good again.
Second set has held up a little better, no bad cupping yet, maybe 8000 miles.
Traction is good in snow & mud, much better than the factory tires. Really good on wet roads, until they get worn down. These tires mostly took care of the severe wheel hop this truck had when pulling out towing heavy (8000 lb & up) loads.

I went through two sets of them on mine. I think mine were 315s. They wore great and I got around 45k miles on them before replacing. I kept them rotated but probably could've done a better job than what I did. The only reason I didn't stay with them was I got hurt and don't hunt any more thus not needing as aggressive tire. They got a little noisy the more they wore but that's been my experience with most any m/t.

Thanks for the answers. I need to start looking. I want something a tad bit more aggressive then the stock tires, but dont really need a mud type tire. I had General Grabber at2 on my 1/2 ton and they wore pretty good, but I'm not sure if I can get them in an E range. I may start a list and do some pros/cons. Thanks again

I had a set of MT RT03 and had them studded at the start, only had them on for winter plowing (had 2 sets wheels/tires, lasted about 5 winters) I liked them a lot, good traction, a little noisy, on the last winter I cut grooves in them across the tread , giving them sipes, what a difference that made, for worn tires they did good, they were 285/70-17 they were only load range D
