1995 F150 4x4 Build

Ok so a couple of weeks ago I picked up this 1995 F150 4x4 4.9 5spd from a farm not to far away from me for only $400. The PO told me there was something wrong with the clutch, so I dropped the transmission and ended up replacing the slave cylinder which was the actual problem. Overall the trucks in pretty good shape.. Bed has some rust starting over the wheels wells, and the bottom of the front fenders are rusted as well. Otherwise the rest of the truck is in fairly good shape. It has 176,000 miles on it, but trans shifts good and motor seems healthy. I plan on fixing it up and using it as a second vehicle when I don't feel like driving my daily Enough talking here's some pics of when I got it and how she sits now.

Yeah it was definitely a steal for $400! I'll hopefully have it on the road shortly and will be doing some much needed maintenance

Well it's come to my attention that the truck needs a head gasket so I started to tear into it the other day. Probably going to replace all the vacuum lines with soft silicone lines since I already broke a few of the hard plastic ones. I'm sure I'll come across some other needed maintenance as I continue the tear down.

I would but unfortunately emissions testing is still required in NJ for this truck

Visual inspection also?

It'll pass the sniffer without the air, but still might not be worth the risk considering it's kind of a pita to get to it all.

Nah they only do a sniffer test, but I figure it's easy enough to just keep all the smog stuff in place. Although I do actually have to replace my air injection rail because I broke it while trying to remove it.
